Our Vision: To provide a church environment and culture that will …
Allow believers to grow in the truth and knowledge of Jesus Christ, enabling them to live out an authentic life in relation to Christ, His Church, the community, and the world.
Encourage each other to live in authentic Christian community and relationships, becoming “perfectly one,” so that the world will believe in the transforming work of Christ and how God loves them (John 17:21).
Actively engage believers to grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ so that they can abide in Him and come to know the breadth and length and height and depth of the love of Christ (Eph 3:18).
Be a church where people are not afraid to bring their un-churched friends. They will know that the un-churched person will have the opportunity to be convicted by the Word without being condemned by other church-goers.
Demonstrate, through expository teaching, that Jesus Christ is continually and consistently revealed in scripture (Heb 10:7). Every Sunday sermon should seek to focus on the person and work of Jesus Christ and how He is revealed in the passage at hand.
Allow the non-believers to be convicted and compelled to enter a saving relationship with Jesus Christ through the teaching of the word and the encouragement of the Holy Spirit, while not having to endure the condemnation of believers or the ritual of religion that is such a force in the south. To allow the Word of God to convict sinners of sin and the religious of their religion (all of Romans).
Create an environment were the dis-churched (those who have “tried” church and turned away from it) can witness Christians living and serving in a way that their lives are consistent with the person and work of Jesus Christ.
Grow a church congregation with a heart for (rather than a fear or loathing of) the lost (Mark 2:15-17)
To be a light and a transforming force for the name and glory of Jesus in our community (John 17).
Our Mission: We exist to lead people to become fully developing and devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
