Perry Carpenter serves as the senior pastor and worship leader for The Gathering. He and his wife, Siobhan, have been married for over 13 years. They have 2 children (Sage and Lily) and live in Austin, Arkansas.

Perry and Siobhan have both lived in Arkansas since childhood. They both completed their college coursework at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, AR. They then moved to Northwest Arkansas to attend graduate school and to begin their life as a married couple.

From 1997 – 2004, Perry served as worship leader for Calvary Chapel in the Ozarks (Rogers,AR). After moving back to central Arkansas, Perry served as worship leader at Calvary Chapel Jacksonville, AR from 2005 – 2009.

Perry graduated from Ouachita Baptist University (Arkadelphia, AR) in 1995 with a double-major in Biblical Studies/Languages and Philosophy. He also has a Masters of Arts in Information Assurance (Information Security) from Norwich University (Northfield, VT).

Siobhan graduated from Ouachita Baptist University in 1995 with a B.S. in Speech-Language Pathology. She then went on to complete a M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
